The Deanship of Information Technology at the University has obtained ISO accreditation certificates for three systems, namely: This is for the second time in a row, following the completion of internal and external audits of the deanship's departments and units by the certification body. The fact that the Deanship of Information Technology has obtained international accreditation certificates more than once is a culmination of its continuous efforts to provide the most prominent technical services and solutions at the university.
This achievement comes in light of the interest and awareness of the deanship's leaders and employees of the importance of achieving quality and obtaining international and local accreditations, and confirming the role of the deanship in raising the name of the university to the ranks of international and local universities, with the support and follow-up of His Excellency Prof. Abdul Rahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood, President of the University.
ISO 20000 adopts an international standard in the quality of IT service management, as this area is one of the areas that are focused on in strategic plans to improve the performance of services provided to beneficiaries and raise the level of information technology to satisfy the beneficiary, and ISO 27001 adopts a basic international standard in how to develop, implement, maintain and continuously improve an approved information security management system, which allows keeping sensitive and confidential data secure and reducing the possibility of illegal or unauthorized access and allows the management of risks
ISO 22301 Business Continuity Management is an international standard that enables organizations to identify ways to ensure business continuity by developing proactive and reactive plans, harnessing additional resources and implementing them to help organizations avoid crises and disasters before they happen and recover quickly from them once they occur.
