His Excellency Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood, President of the University, inspected the preparations of the Coronavirus Immunization Center at the University Hospital in the Medical City, accompanied by His Excellency the University Vice President, Dr. Mohammed Al-Saawi, the Executive Director, Dr. Khalid Al-Husais, and members of the Medical City Council.
His Excellency was briefed on the equipment and preparations of the center, which will start its work by providing the first vaccine against the virus as soon as the necessary equipment is completed, provided that the priority in receiving the vaccine is for health practitioners, then university employees and their families, then male and female students, and various community groups based on the health standards set by the Ministry of Health.
During his tour, Al-Dawood praised the contents and equipment of the university hospital and its great potential, which allowed this center to be equipped for vaccination against Corona in a short period of time, to serve the people of the Qassim region in cooperation with the Ministry of Health to provide multiple centers for taking the vaccine, to contribute to sparing our dear country from the repercussions of this pandemic.
His Excellency and the accompanying delegation toured the medical city's departments and the administrative offices that have been relocated, namely: The Office of the Executive Director General, the Office of the Medical Advisor, the Medical Departments, the Physiotherapy Department, the Operation and Maintenance Department, the Medical Equipment and Supply Department, the Supporting Medical Services Department, the Financial and Administrative Affairs Department, the Supporting Services Department, and the Information Technology Department.
Al-Dawood extended his thanks and appreciation to the Executive Director and all the employees of the medical city for their outstanding efforts, stressing: "We want this medical city to be distinguished not only at the level of the region, but also at the level of the Kingdom and the world," he said.
