The University, represented by the Medical City, signed a joint cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Health to participate in the national immunization campaign against COVID-19 on Wednesday, 28/6/1442 AH, whereby the University Medical City will be one of the centers entrusted with administering and delivering COVID-19 vaccines approved vaccines to the beneficiaries.
This agreement, signed by Dr. Khalid Al-Husais, CEO of the Medical City, and Dr. Khalid Al-Abdulkareem, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for Primary Health Care, comes out of the university's belief in its community role in serving community issues and under the guidance of Prof. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood, President of the University, to harness all the university's capabilities of facilities and specialized professional cadres in serving the nation in cooperation with the relevant government agencies.
