In an effort to fill the gap between new bachelor's graduates and the labor market, the College of Computer Science at Qassim University launched the (Dream) program in the presence of Prof. Abdullah bin Ibrahim Al-Shoushan, Dean of the College of Computer Science, vice deans, faculty members, engineers and students of the college.
Dr. Al-Shoushan appreciated Elm's initiative and urged other technical manufacturing companies to take similar steps to activate cooperation between universities and the private sector to provide outputs in line with the requirements of the labor market.
For his part, Mr. Osama Ahmed Jan, head of the (Dream) creative team from Elm Company, praised the College of Computing at Qassim University, praising the excellence of its students and mentioned that the company chose the College of Computing at Qassim University to launch its project because it is one of the most computer colleges in the Kingdom to cooperate with the company and mentioned that the company is expected to generalize this program in the rest of the universities in the Kingdom.
During a dedicated lecture, he also presented an introductory overview of the Dream Program, its objectives, the future of computer majors, real-life experiences in the computer field, and the importance of professional certificates, which met the interaction of the college students, where more than 200 students and a group of faculty members attended.
It is noteworthy that the delegation of Elm Company made an inspection tour with Dr. Sulaiman bin Amr Al-Amrou, Vice Dean of the College, to view the laboratories and departments of the College (Computer Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology) and the latest equipment and developments that the College has witnessed.
