His Excellency the UQU President, Prof. Khalid bin Abdulrahman Al-Hamoudi, inaugurated the exhibition on the 84th National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Monday morning, 27/11/1435 A.H. The exhibition was organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs in the university lobby in the presence of the university vice presidents, the Dean of Student Affairs, university employees, faculty members, staff and students, in addition to the scholarship students who participated in the celebration of the National Day.
The exhibition showcased students' creations, including pictures and sculptures that tell the story of a leader and a nation, in addition to the production of the university's faculties and the presentation of publications.
His Excellency the UQU President had directed the Deanship of Student Affairs to highlight the 84th National Day by implementing a number of diverse programs. The general program to celebrate the 84th National Day included many seminars, competitions, plays and national documentary films depicting the importance of the occasion, in addition to a number of exhibitions at the headquarters and various colleges in Buraydah and the provinces of the region, Many exhibitions were also held at the headquarters and various colleges of the university in Buraydah and the governorates of the region, in addition to a number of lectures and seminars, which opened with an open meeting entitled ((Promoting citizenship in light of contemporary changes) by the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Sharida, which was held in a large attendance in Hall A in the main building.
The entrances and dome of the university were decorated with slogans, flags and patriotic phrases in a beautiful scene that embodies belonging and citizenship.
The university students expressed their pride in their homeland and congratulated the leadership and people on this occasion, asking the Almighty to protect the country from all evil and to continue the march of development and growth in all fields.
