His Excellency the President of Qassim University, Prof. Dr. Khalid bin Abdulrahman Al-Hamoudi, stressed that the 84th anniversary of the National Day is an opportunity to recall the history of this blessed country and the stages of its growth and development in various eras since the establishment of the founding King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud - may God rest his soul - and then his righteous sons who followed his path until our prosperous era led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince Prince, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz and the Deputy Crown Prince, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz - may God bless them and support them with his victory - may God protect them.
His Excellency said: His Excellency said that consolidating the epics and stages that the country has gone through in the hearts of young people would strengthen the sense of belonging, instill national meanings and highlight the lofty values on which the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia grew up and is still today, until it became one of the most important countries in terms of political and economic influence.
The UQU President pointed out that the Kingdom, praise be to God, is moving in a steady pace, achieving qualitative leaps in various fields and levels, which reflects the soundness of the approach and the depth of the future vision of its wise leadership.
His Excellency went on to say: The university is like other scientific edifices in this country, This reflects what the higher education sector has witnessed during the past decade in terms of quantitative and qualitative leaps and astronomical figures that pushed it towards the ports of brilliance at all levels and levels in a remarkable manner, shortened the time and overcame obstacles and highlighted the magnitude of the effort made and the great giving in line with the ambitions and aspirations of the leadership within the framework of targeting the human element and investing in human capital in line with the requirements of the stage and the requirements of the era.
His Excellency reviewed the history of Qassim University on this occasion, saying:
The university has recently reached its first decade since its establishment in 1424 A.H.-2004 A.D. and is moving - praise be to God - according to its strategic plan towards the horizons of excellence in various fields, as it recently achieved institutional accreditation by the National Accreditation and Evaluation Commission as the third public university in the Kingdom. This is an extension of the university's efforts to achieve quality standards in its colleges spread in various cities, governorates and centers in the region, pointing out that this comes in conjunction with the establishment of giant projects within the university city in Buraidah and the governorates of the region, where the number of approved projects for the university (129) projects with a total value of (9.Some of them have been completed at a total cost of 2,724,032,032,000 riyals, and other projects are underway with a total of 6,833,228,000 riyals.
His Excellency the President of Qassim University added: The most prominent project currently being implemented is the University Hospital, which has a capacity of 700 beds in addition to the buildings of dental clinics, laboratories and outpatient clinics, as well as the conference center, which is an architectural masterpiece, sports facilities that include multiple stadiums, halls and swimming pools, faculty members' housing, student housing, projects and maintenance management building, medical laboratories, central library and the building of supporting deanships.
The city also hosts a number of projects, some of which have been completed and others are currently being implemented, as follows: College of Science - Complex of Health Colleges for male and female students (Medicine, Dentistry, Applied Medical Sciences and Pharmacy) - Engineering - Sharia and Arabic Language - Computer - Deanship of Educational Services (Preparatory Year) - Education - University Studies Center for Girls, which includes the College of Economics and Administration, the Complex of Health Colleges for Female Students, and the College of Computers and its services.

It includes four colleges that have already started implementing their infrastructure, as follows: Science, Arts, Design and Home Economics, and Education.

It includes a number of faculties (medicine, science, arts, and pharmacy), in addition to buildings for faculty housing.
– University City for male and female students in Rass Governorate
It includes colleges (Science and Arts - Dentistry - Health Sciences - Business Administration), in addition to the university's colleges in the governorates (Al-Bukairiyah, Al-Madhanib, Al-Bada'iyah, Aqlah Al-Suqur)
He praised the efforts of the General Administration of Projects and Maintenance and its important role in advancing the work according to the timelines of the projects.
