UQU President inspects the Deanships of E-Learning and Information Technology on the first day of the new academic year

His Excellency Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood, President of the University, conducted an inspection tour yesterday morning, Sunday, 11/1/1442 A.H., which included the Deanship of E-Learning and Distance Education and the Deanship of Information Technology, to check the regularity of workflow and the regularity of the educational process on the first day of the new academic year, accompanied by the University Vice President for Educational Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Al-Udeib, and the University Vice President for Planning, Development and Quality, Prof. Khalid Al-Harbi.

His Excellency toured the various departments of the Deanship of E-Learning and Distance Education to check on the provision of services to the beneficiaries, including students and faculty members, and to see the deanship's preparations for the conduct of the educational process at the beginning of the first semester. During the visit, Dr. Saad Al-Dosari, Dean of E-Learning and Distance Education, presented the deanship's plans to facilitate the distance learning process in an easy and smooth manner in light of the measures taken to confront the novel coronavirus pandemic.   

His Excellency then visited the Deanship of Information Technology and met with its Dean, Dr. Fahad Al-Mansour, and the deanship's staff. He inspected the deanship's software department and watched a review of site statistics, work progress and ongoing projects, watched the new wireless connectivity project, and observed the monitoring systems of network devices and external internet data monitoring systems.

During the visit, the UQU President expressed his thanks and appreciation to all university employees for their efforts, congratulating all employees, students and students on the occasion of the beginning of the new academic year, wishing them all help and success to serve their country and their families under our wise leadership.
