Qassim University will begin tomorrow, Sunday, until next Thursday, to receive applications for admission to the university colleges spread in Buraidah and all governorates and centers of the region through its website, provided that the required documents are delivered to students through the Saudi Post, while female students will be sufficient to apply through the website without the need to send their documents through the mail. The Deanship of Admission and Registration at the university has published detailed information and instructions about admission, its mechanisms, the method of application, the specializations available for admission, the conditions to be met by male and female applicants, and the written tests required for some specializations on the university website.
For his part, the Dean of Admission and Registration, Dr. Mohammed Al-Saawi, explained that the university has expanded significantly in recent years, with the number of its colleges reaching 40 colleges with more than 100 majors for both sexes spread across all governorates of the region,
Dr. Al-Saawi revealed that the number of seats available for admission for the next academic year for both sexes exceeds 16,500 seats as approved by the University Council, pointing out that there are a number of disciplines that witness high competition for admission, especially the preparatory year as the main entrance to the colleges "health, medical, engineering, architecture, planning and computer", as well as Sharia, physical education for men, psychology, kindergarten for women, English language and Islamic studies from the desired disciplines that witness great competition during admission, stressing that this year the faculties of science and arts in both Nabhaniyah governorates will be opened.
Dr. Al-Saawi stated that the number of male and female students at the university currently exceeds 60,000 without this year's graduates, whose number exceeded 8,000 male and female graduates, and it is expected that after the end of admission for the new year, the number will exceed 70,000 male and female students.
