UQU students from various colleges organized to study "remotely" on the first day of the summer semester (413), as the statistics on Sunday, 31/5/2020 revealed that 19,135 students logged in to the virtual classes, while the number of files reviewed reached 401 files, in addition to 2060 evaluations, and 453 discussion boards were held.
The statistics of the first day issued by the e-learning management system revealed that 426 virtual sessions were created on the Blackboard system with a total duration of more than 2099 educational hours, while the total attendance of the sessions reached 40788 students and 21210 students, as the Blackboard system witnessed 386 synchronized sessions at the same time.
As for the Zoom system, the number of virtual classes created on Sunday amounted to 33, with 1,771 students participating, and the total duration of the sessions amounted to 69,204 learning hours.
For his part, Dr. Mohammed Al-Oudaib, Vice President for Educational Affairs, confirmed that the university was keen to provide seats in this year's summer semester for the largest number of those wishing to enroll in this semester, and completed all preparations during the vacation period to hold it in the best way, pointing out that the university has all the material and human resources and technologies necessary to facilitate the educational process for the largest number of male and female students at the same time with ease and ease.
