His Excellency Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood, President of the University, extended his highest congratulations and blessings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, His Highness the Crown Prince Prince Mohammed bin Salman - may Allah protect them - and His Highness the Emir of Qassim Region Prince Dr. Faisal bin Meshal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, and His Highness the Deputy Emir Prince Fahd bin Turki bin Faisal bin Turki, on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr this year, praying to Allah to lift this epidemic from the whole world at the earliest possible time, Allah willing.
Al-Dawood also congratulated all male and female students during the "remote" greeting ceremony held by the university, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs, on Sunday, 1/10/1441 A.H., for the students of the university residence, with the participation of the Vice President for Educational Affairs, Dr. Muhammad Al-Obayeb, the Vice President for Planning, Development and Quality, Prof. Khalid Al-Harbi, and a number of deans and vice deans of colleges and supporting deanships.
In his speech delivered "remotely" during the ceremony, "Al-Dawood" expressed his pleasure in listening to the students of the university residence and checking on them and congratulating everyone on this different holiday in which we meet remotely, due to the circumstances of the Corona pandemic, asking God to return and meet as we were, stressing that he follows all developments and reports firsthand for those who traveled, those who stayed and those who will travel, saying: "We at the university and the Kingdom are happy to host you at the university, and we are proud of you when the student graduates from the university and returns to his country loaded with knowledge and knowledge, and we are honored to see our brothers and sons participating with us from abroad after receiving science, knowledge and lessons at our university, which makes us happy and pleased with what we offer at this university.
The ceremony began with verses from the Holy Qur'an recited by the student Abdul-Razzaq bin Abdullah from Ethiopia, after which the student Abdullah bin Hussein bin Ka'ayah from Yemen delivered a speech on behalf of the students on this occasion, in which he said: "I am pleased and honored on behalf of the scholarship students at the university to offer the highest congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, His Highness the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, His Highness the Emir of Qassim Region, and His Highness the Vice President, praying to Allah to keep the Kingdom safe and secure, and extending thanks and appreciation to UQU President for the efforts made for the scholarship students at the university.
After that, the student Salman bin Amash Al-Harbi recited a poem on this occasion, then Dr. Ali bin Fareeh Al-Aqlaa, Dean of Student Affairs, spoke a speech in which he offered congratulations and blessings on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr, thanking the attention that the university residence receives from the university presidency, and praying for success and success for all for their presence and honor at this ceremony.
