His Excellency the President of Qassim University, Prof. Khalid bin Abdulrahman Al-Hamoudi, attended the closing ceremony of student activities for the academic year 1434-1435 A.H. in the Hall of Celebrations (A) at the University Administration Building, organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs in the presence of the university vice presidents, college deans, the deanship, university affiliates and a group of students.
He praised the success of the student activities this year after the efforts exerted by those in charge of them, and congratulated the winning colleges, wishing them to continue their efforts and giving in the coming stages, stressing the importance of paying attention to activities and their role in highlighting talents and that the university is keen to support all male and female students through various activities and events.
The ceremony included the presentation of a documentary film that reviewed the various achievements, activities and forums of the university, in addition to the student activities carried out by the Deanship of Student Affairs.
The ceremony also witnessed a number of different paragraphs and honored the participating parties from the university departments and colleges that won the student activities and supervisors of student clubs, and launched the exhibition of student activities for male and female students that included their various activities during the year.
On the other hand, His Excellency the President of Qassim University, Dr. Khalid bin Abdulrahman Al-Hamoudi, honored the outstanding students in the Hall of Celebrations (A) at the University Administration Building in the presence of deans of colleges and a group of celebrated students, which numbered 330 students at the stages of "Doctorate, Bachelor and Master's degrees".
An accompanying exhibition was also held, during which the deans of the colleges handed out shields of excellence to the outstanding students,
The ceremony included a number of speeches and poems by students, as well as a movie "Success Story" about the university's march and outstanding students and included a number of speeches by them about their success story.
For his part, the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Khalid Al-Sharida, appreciated the patronage of the UQU President for this ceremony, stressing that it comes out of his keenness, interest and desire to motivate students, congratulating the winners and their parents, and urging them to continue their efforts to achieve the highest ranks in their scientific career,
For his part, the Director of the Guidance and Guidance Department at the Deanship of Student Affairs, Mr. Hani Al-Mashaigh, said that students have the right to honor and celebrate them at the end of each academic year, and mentioned that this year they intended to hold an accompanying exhibition to share the deans of colleges with their students by handing them shields and celebrating them, in addition to receiving medals from the UQU President.
