Qassim University, represented by the Southern Branch Administration, the General Administration of Projects, the Security and Safety Department, and the College of Science and Arts in Anizah, held an urgent meeting with the Traffic Department in Anizah, to address the traffic congestion witnessed in the university city in the province on Sunday morning, 8/6/1441 AH, on the first day of classes at the new headquarters of the College of Science and Arts in Anizah, where the meeting discussed developing quick solutions to ensure the smooth flow of vehicular traffic.
Dr. Mohammed Al-Sharekh, General Supervisor of the University's Southern Branch, confirmed that the vicinity of the University City in Aniza witnessed traffic congestion at 7:30 am, due to the increase in the number of vehicles with the start of the study at the new college headquarters, where university officials hurried to hold this meeting to resolve the issue quickly.
Al-Sharekh explained that immediately after the end of the meeting, the solutions were implemented and the issue of traffic congestion was addressed by developing appropriate solutions, and they were applied during the exit of students and employees, and thankfully no congestion was seen, pointing out that the established plan went smoothly, as more than one path was formed, and two gates were opened, so that each path has its own route, praising the efforts of colleagues from security, safety, projects, branch management, and traffic employees who made a great effort to overcome this issue and solve it as soon as possible, praising the efforts of colleagues from security, safety, projects, branch management, and the employees of Unaiza traffic.
