Sheikh Al-Qaraawi Chair for Quran and its Sciences signs research grants with 5 researchers

The Sheikh Ali bin Abdul Rahman Al-Qaraawi Chair for the Quran and its Sciences at the University signed several research grants with five researchers yesterday, Sunday, 3/5/1441 AH, in the presence of the UQU Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Ahmed Al-Turki, the Dean of the College of Shari`ah, Dr. Khalid Abul Khail, and the Secretary of the Research Chairs at the University, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Muhaimid.
 
The supervisor of the chair, Prof. Dr. Fahad Al-Daleh, signed the agreement, along with Prof. Dr. Ali bin Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Sakkar, Dr. Ibrahim Abdul Rahim Hafez Hussein, Dr. Mohammed Atallah Al-Azab, Dr. Mohammed Menghed Omar Farouk Asil, and Prof. Zahraa bint Abdulrahman Al-Matroudi.
 
Following the signing, he emphasized that these research grants deal with three topics: The first is on contemporary doubts related to the Holy Quran, the second is on e-Quran through smart device applications, a monitoring study of the services, negatives and positives, while the third is on the interpretation of the Quran for children from Surah Al-Duha to the end of Surah Al-Nas for ages between three and seven, as more than 30 researchers applied for the chair and five of them were selected.
