His Excellency the President of Qassim University, Prof. Dr. Khalid bin Abdulrahman Al-Hamoudi, inaugurated the "Together for them" forum on Tuesday afternoon at the College of Education in Al-Safra neighborhood in Buraydah.
The opening ceremony included a speech program during which the Dean of the College, Dr. Abdullah Al-Muzairi, spoke about the importance of such forums and their role in raising awareness of autism disorder, praising the support of the UQU President for the college's march and activities.
A documentary film on autism awareness was also screened before His Excellency honored the forum's sponsors and supporters, thanking them for their active partnership.
His Excellency inaugurated the accompanying exhibition and toured its corners, praising the awareness efforts related to autistic children, whether through prevention, treatment or community support, stressing that the forum is an embodiment of the role of the university in serving the community as one of the pillars of the university's noble mission.
In conclusion, Dr. Al-Muzairi presented the college's shield to the UQU President in appreciation of his continuous support for the activities and events at the college and the university in general.
