The Center for Innovation and Intellectual Property concluded yesterday, Tuesday, 15/3/1441 A.H., the Entrepreneurs Camp, which was held by the Center in cooperation with the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises (Monsha'at), for 10 days in Buraidah. During the camp, participants learned entrepreneurial skills, including analyzing customer needs, building a prototype, writing a business plan, analyzing the financial plan, and learning skills to convince investors, with the participation of 80 male and female participants from the academic staff, employees, graduates and students.
This camp is one of the programs of the University Startup Initiative, an integrated program that contributes to building an entrepreneurial community in the Kingdom's universities and empowering and supporting university affiliates to become highly skilled entrepreneurs and leaders capable of developing and growing their entrepreneurial projects to achieve the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
On the last day of the camp, the entrepreneurs presented their projects to the jury, and the two best projects from Qassim University were selected and presented on (Challenge Day) with the rest of the nominated projects from other universities in the Kingdom, who presented their projects to the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises and investors, with the aim of obtaining financial support and the opportunity to present their projects in front of investors.
