Yesterday, Wednesday, 17/2/1441 A.H., the Deanship of Development and Quality held a workshop entitled "Qualifying Internal Auditors" at the headquarters of the Leadership and Capacity Development Center, in which more than 41 faculty members of both sexes participated, with the aim of qualifying the internal auditors of academic programs, deanships and departments, as well as introducing the participants in the audit process to the models and tools used to measure the quality levels in programs, deanships and departments and their consistency with academic and administrative standards.
Dr. Sultan Al-Muhaimid is a member of the Standing Committee for Quality at the university, and Dr. Badr Al-Harbi is the Vice Dean of Development and Quality for Quality.
For his part, Dr. Bandar Al-Mutairi, Dean of the Deanship of Development and Quality, said that this workshop comes within the efforts of the university administration, represented by the University Vice Presidency for Planning, Development and Quality and the Deanship of Development and Quality, as an extension of the quality assurance system confirmation processes at the university, adding that it aims to prepare the teams participating in the evaluation process of academic programs and administrative units in its sixth round by reviewing the review and verification mechanisms approved by the Standing Committee for Quality according to the standards of the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Assessment of the Education Evaluation Commission.
Al-Mutairi pointed out that the importance of this workshop stems from the importance of academic quality in higher education and Qassim University's endeavor to achieve it in all its units in accordance with the standards of national and international accreditation bodies, within the framework of a unified, transparent and announced mechanism for all entities that will be subject to the evaluation process in this year's round.
