Yesterday, Wednesday, 26/1/1441 A.H., the university, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs (female section), celebrated the 89th National Day to commemorate the founding of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as part of the "Hemma to the Top" activities organized by the university on this occasion. The celebration was held at the College of Shari`ah and Islamic Studies in Buraidah, with the participation of about 850 female students and in the presence of a number of female deans and vice deans of the university's colleges.

The celebration included a number of activities and the exchange of congratulations and blessings on this precious occasion for the sons and daughters of the Saudi people. The celebration also included an accompanying exhibition on patriotism, in which university students participated in the national identity, including instant drawings, paintings, handicrafts, poetry and visual presentations, in addition to the participation of orphaned children with National Day drawings, and souvenirs were presented to them.

For her part, the Vice Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Amal Al-Rubaish, explained that the ceremony included a visual presentation on the establishment of the Kingdom since its unification, and an exhibition that included several corners of the participation of female students who presented artistic paintings, handicrafts, direct drawing and poetry, in addition to a paragraph with the participation of children of the Sons Association. She pointed out that the agency set up a special corner through which students expressed their feelings and support for the soldiers stationed at the southern border with words and fingerprints. Visitors flocked to the exhibition from nine in the morning until two in the afternoon, and students also recited poems and words expressing love for the homeland and strengthening national cohesion.

She added that this dear occasion should recall the blessings of God on this blessed country, consolidate loyalty to the king and belonging to the homeland, and develop national values, during which we recall the achievements of the Kingdom starting from King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud - may God have mercy on him - and the kings after him. Al-Rubaish thanked the students and faculty members present, asking God Almighty to preserve this homeland and save the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and his Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for their concern for the people and the country, and to keep this country from all harm, and to maintain the blessing of security and safety on all of them
