The university, represented by the Deanship of Scientific Research, will hold two training programs in scientific research, namely: "On Monday and Tuesday, 3-4/1/1441 A.H., with the participation of a number of speakers. These programs, which are organized by the Sharia and Linguistic Sciences Research Center in the first week of the first semester of each academic year, target faculty members at the level of assistant professor for men and women, as well as teaching assistants and postgraduate students.
The first program "Wa'ed" is a training program that qualifies and prepares new faculty members in scientific research in accordance with the stage to which the faculty member has moved, namely assistant professor. The program also informs the new faculty member about the requirements of scientific promotion and the requirements of scientific publication. This program aims to enhance the faculty member's efficiency in the research field and develop his performance, raise his skillful efficiency in research and selection of scientific topics, in addition to introducing the procedures related to publication standards and arbitration in approved publication venues, and the faculty member learns during the program about
The "Wa'ed" program includes workshops on (Promotion Research Between Reality and Hope), courses in the skill of writing promotion research, and scientific promotion between the academic system and the mechanism of publishing in scientific journals, targeting faculty members at the rank of assistant professor at the College of Shari`ah and Islamic Studies and the College of Arabic Language - men and women.
The second program, "Jadir", aims to provide postgraduate students with the necessary research needs and raise awareness of the needs of the upcoming new research stage, with the aim of teaching them scientific research methods, introducing them to the latest scientific research methods, familiarizing them with the methods of writing scientific theses and their requirements, mastering them, reaching skill in the means of searching for information and scientific dealing with it, as well as the best ways to process it, introducing the scientific and regulatory mechanisms for the registration of the thesis, as well as introducing the student to the research services provided by universities and research centers to benefit from them.
The program includes workshops on (Problems of the Academic Thesis: From Topic Selection to Discussion), as well as training courses in the skill of selecting the thesis topic and the mechanism of building the thesis plan. The program targets male and female teaching assistants and postgraduate students at the master's and doctoral levels at the College of Shari`ah and Islamic Studies and the College of Arabic Language.
