His Excellency the President of Qassim University, Prof. Khalid bin Abdulrahman Al-Hamoudi, inaugurated the Preparation Forum for the Accounting Profession (the first), which was organized by the College of Economics and Administration, represented by the Department of Accounting and held at the University of Qassim, and this forum comes in order to activate students' learning activities outside the classroom, increase their interaction and build their professional skills: In the first session, Dr. Obaid Al-Mutairi, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administration, Mr. Tariq Al-Sadhan from KPMG Audit Office, Mr. Hindi Al-Suhaimi from the Capital Market Authority, Mr. Abdullah Al-Khalifa from Arab Bank, and Dr. Nizar Al-Shuwayman moderated the session, and in the second session, Mr. Ehsan Makhdoom from Deloitte Audit Office, Mr. Sultan Al-Muqrin from the General Auditing Bureau, Mr. Meshaal Al-Sharihi from Al Rajhi Bank, and Mr. Adib Al-Fahid from Tamimi Group, and Dr. Ali Al-Noodle moderated the session. In the third and final session, Mr. Saleh Al-Dawood from the Monetary Authority, Dr. Mohammed Al-Aqeel from the Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants, Mr. Abdullah Al-Faraj from Al-Ahli Bank, and Dr. Ahmed Al-Salman moderated the session.
 
 
 Each participant presented his perspective and practical experience as well as from the point of view of the organization in which he works by talking about four axes. As for the first axis, the participants talked about the importance of the accounting specialization, in which all participants agreed that accounting is considered one of the specializations required everywhere and at all times, and the demand for it is still high, and for the second axis, the participants talked about the requirements and skills that the labor market wants from accounting graduates from male and female students, and perhaps the most prominent of these requirements are commitment and seriousness to work, as well as a good knowledge of accounting knowledge and also the English language and computer, and the third axis focused on available opportunities and challenges faced by accounting graduates from male and female students, and participants mentioned that among the most important challenges that Here, all participants agreed on the importance of professional certificates, especially the accounting fellowship or what is called the Chartered Accountant Certificate, in addition to other certificates, perhaps the most important of which is the Internal Auditor Certificate. The participants also urged male and female students to take advantage of the existence of the fellowship course in the program, as the Department of Accounting is almost the only one in the Arab world that offers this course in the bachelor's program.

He added that one of the most prominent benefits of this forum is that the participants represent multiple entities, including accounting and auditing offices, banks, the Monetary Authority, the Capital Market Authority, the General Auditing Bureau, the Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants and the private sector. He also emphasized that the participants are former graduates of the department, so this diversity of experiences has enriched many benefits for the male and female students present. In conclusion, we hope that this forum and the themes it contains will be an incentive for all male and female college students to exert their efforts, wishing God Almighty success for all.
On the sidelines of the forum, the university, represented by the Faculty of Economics and Management, signed an agreement with Onaiza Investment Company, and the university was represented by its vice president, Prof. Abdul-Moneim Al-Abdul-Moneim, with the aim of cooperation and training.
