A conference at the university to define the concept of linguistic and literary heritage in the light of modern approaches.

Qassim University, represented by the Department of Arabic Language and Literature at the College of Arabic Language and Social Studies, will organize the third international conference on "Linguistic and Literary Heritage in the Light of Modern Approaches" under the patronage of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood, President of the University, tomorrow, Thursday, 7/7/1440 H at 8:30 am at the College's Grand Ballroom, with the participation of 14 senior researchers from the Arab world, whose research will be divided into three scientific sessions starting at 9:00 am and ending at 2:30 pm.

The conference aims to define the concept of heritage in contemporary Arabic discourse, identify the aspects of multiple readings of it, and determine the objective foundations that govern the relationship between our linguistic and literary heritage on the one hand, and modern trends and approaches on the other, based on the recognition of the importance of the heritage and modern fields and their complementarity.
