The University, represented by the College of Dentistry, is organizing the 11th Qassim Dental Forum at the Cultural Center in Buraidah for three days during the period from 7-9/7/1440 H under the patronage of His Excellency Prof. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood, President of the University. The forum aims to support communication and scientific and knowledge exchange between dental students and recent graduates from all over the Kingdom, exchange experiences among them, and promote scientific research in the field of dentistry under an integrated and organized knowledge umbrella, under an integrated and organized umbrella.
The forum also aims to provide students with communication, dialog and leadership skills, enrich the university academic scene with student forums, and develop the spirit of honest scientific competition among participants in the various scientific competitions witnessed by the forum.
For his part, the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Dr. Zafer Al-Asmari, explained that this forum is organized annually by Qassim University for students, students, dentists and recent graduates in the Kingdom, where this year witnesses the launch of its eleventh edition, stressing that the forum this year includes several main events, most importantly the presence of a distinguished group of prominent Saudi speakers in various branches of dentistry to provide scientific lectures and workshops, in addition to distinctive participation from students and students of dental colleges in the Kingdom and recent graduates, through 60 scientific research posters and 15 presentations.
The Dean of the College added that the forum also includes an accompanying exhibition with the participation of many entities interested in dentistry and companies working in the field of dental supplies. For the first time this year, the forum will witness a scientific competition between nominated teams from 9 dental colleges in the Kingdom as a first nucleus to promote this competition and open the door for local and international participation in the coming years, God willing, and on the sidelines of the conference, visits will be organized for the participating delegations and speakers to introduce them to the history and heritage of the Qassim region.
