His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Emir of Qassim, crowned the winners of the National Day competition organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs at Qassim University, which included several themes related to the best essay, poem and national painting, in addition to the best national phrase in Arabic calligraphy and the best national maqamah.

His Highness also honored the winners of the prizes of the College of Designs and Home Economics in Buraydah, which included national creative contributions in the art of Arabic calligraphy, printing, plastic art and sculpture. His Highness handed over their prizes to their parents during the National Day celebration held in the Municipality Square in the north of Buraydah, praising all this interaction and presence by enriching the National Day scene with wonderful contributions that reflect the belonging of the region's youth and girls to this tender homeland. The University of Qassim celebrated the 83rd National Day through various programs organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs under the guidance of the UQU President. The general program to celebrate the National Day included many seminars and competitions for male and female students reflecting the importance of the occasion. In cooperation with the Qassim Literary Club, the university organized a seminar entitled "Unity of the Nation" presented by Dr. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Sharida, Dean of Student Affairs, and Prof. Abdullah bin Ibrahim Al-Turki, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Science at Qassim University, on Tuesday evening, 18/11/1434 AH, at the club's headquarters in Al-Faiziya neighborhood in Buraydah.
