Qassim University urges its new students to seek knowledge

The Deanship of Student Affairs at Qassim University organized yesterday, Sunday, a reception ceremony for new students in Hall "A" in the presence of His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Khaled bin Abdulrahman Al-Hamoudi, and the university vice presidents. The ceremony aims to introduce new students to the regulations and instructions governing studies and tests that concern their academic future and the services provided by the university to its male and female students, in addition to responding to their questions and inquiries, and the UQU President explained the educational systems to the students and made them feel the importance of joining the university and urged them to continue their diligence.
The UQU Vice President for Educational Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Al-Tami, the UQU Vice President for Development and Quality, Dr. Sulaiman Al-Yahya, the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Khalid bin Abdulrahman Al-Sharida, the Dean of Admission and Registration, Dr. Mohammed Al-Saudi, and the Vice Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Fahd Al-Dhale, addressed a number of speeches to students, urging them to persevere in their academic achievement and take care of their academic future, and answered their questions on everything related to their university studies and what they need at the beginning of their first academic year. The Dean of Educational Services, Dr. Muhammad Al-Jasser, also held an open meeting with the preparatory year students, during which he explained the regulations and the preparatory year program and answered their questions and inquiries.
The Deanship of Student Affairs also organized a reception for new students at the College of Shari'ah and Islamic Studies in the presence of the Vice Dean of Admission and Registration, Dr. Fahad Al-Ahmad, and the Vice Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Ahmad Al-Shabaan, during which they were introduced to the regulations and instructions governing studies and tests that concern their future and clarify their inquiries.
It is noteworthy that the Deanship of Student Affairs formed several committees to organize and arrange this ceremony, during which a file containing a gift from the Deanship of Student Affairs, a CD containing information about the university, and brochures containing information of interest to university students was distributed.
