His Excellency Prof. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood, UQU President, inaugurated the "Blackboard E-Learning Management System in Postgraduate Studies Project" on Wednesday, 6/3/1440 A.H., in the meeting hall of his office, in cooperation between the Deanships of Postgraduate Studies, E-Learning and Continuing Education.
The UQU President thanked the two deanships in charge of this project for making these services available to researchers and supervisors, appreciating the joint efforts between the university entities to provide such useful and beneficial projects, and emphasizing his keenness to control the processes of supervision and guidance, facilitate communication, and provide the necessary support in these processes.
For his part, the Dean of Postgraduate Studies, Dr. Mohammed Al-Dughairi, stressed that the project of employing the Blackboard Learning Management System in postgraduate studies is one of the important projects aimed at managing the process of supervision and guidance at the postgraduate stage, including follow-up and scientific, research and educational guidance, to provide all this electronically through the Blackboard system, and to communicate and interact between professors and researchers continuously remotely, indicating that the project helps the researcher to achieve faster through communication with the professor, and enables the professor to continuously follow up and provide support to researchers, because it aims to employ the Blackboard Learning Management System, and
Dr. Saad Al-Dosari, Dean of E-Learning and Distance Education, explained the steps to implement the project and the set of tools that this system provides for supervisors, advisors, and graduate students, which facilitates communication and ensures the quality of supervision and guidance processes in graduate studies.
