Course Description: By the end of this course, the student will be able to: - Basic knowledge about antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral, and antiparasitic agents commonly used in animals. - Classify drugs affecting the reproductive system, skin, and hormone therapy. - Prepare different dosage forms. - Prepare scientific prescriptions for different disease problems. - Select an appropriate anesthetic for all animal species. - Identify drugs affecting different body systems.

Prerequisites: VMD 461
Objectives of the course :

– Prepare the student to deal with various chemical factors.
– To allow students to gain knowledge about antibiotics – antibacterials – anticoccidials – anthelmintics – blood parasites – antifungals and antivirals.
Providing students with a preparation of various pharmaceutical dosage forms.
– Description of different scientific recipes for various disease problems.

Students should be able to recognize different medications appropriate for different illnesses.
Skills:
Students should be able to prepare different pharmaceutical dosage forms and describe different scientific prescriptions for different diseases.
