Course Description: This course covers the history and development of vaccinology, vaccine types and characteristics, and immunization programs and their evaluation.
Credits: 2
Prerequisites: VMD 343
Objectives of the course :

1- Providing students with basic knowledge about vaccines and immune serums (their development, types, production methods, storage, and their role in stimulating the immune system and preventing diseases).
2. Enable students to gain knowledge and practice in evaluating vaccines and vaccination programs.

Course outputs :

Students will be able to list and identify key information related to veterinary vaccines.
Students will be able to identify laboratory methods used in the production and evaluation of experimental vaccines, and apply them practically.
