Course Description: In this course, students will study the requirements of a diagnostic microbiology laboratory, methods for collecting and sending appropriate diagnostic samples from various pathological conditions, and knowledge of the characteristics of microbial pathogens: microscopic, cultural, serological, and molecular.

Objectives of the course :

– To provide students with sufficient knowledge about collecting and submitting samples from sick animals for microbial identification.
- To enable students to identify microbes in clinical samples based on their microscopic, cultural, biochemical, serological, and molecular characteristics.
