Pathological dissection

Course Description: This course covers specialized veterinary pathology, including viral, bacterial, parasitic, and fungal diseases affecting ruminants, horses, dogs, and cats, as well as necropsy techniques and sample collection.
Credits: 2
Prerequisites: VMD 352
Objectives of the course :

Providing students with sufficient knowledge about dissection techniques for various farm and pet animals.
• Train students to apply in-depth knowledge in diagnosing animal diseases.
• Students will be able to write anatomical and histopathological reports.

Course outputs :

Students will be able to keep up with developments in the pathology of viral, bacterial, and parasitic diseases in animals.
The student will be able to identify the appropriate organs from which sufficient and suitable samples can be collected.
3. The student should be able to complete an anatomy report and perform dissections on various farm animals.
