Course Description: The course includes the study of surgical anatomy of different body parts in animals, including knowledge and identification of nerves, nerve blocks in the head region, issues related to the eyes and ears, fractures of the upper and lower jaws, suturing wounds in the upper and lower lip areas, knowledge of areas most subject to surgery in the neck region, nerve blocks in the abdominal region, nerve blocks in the forelimb, and locations of nerve blocks in the hindlimb.

Objectives of the course :

To provide the student with the fundamental knowledge to identify nerve locations throughout the body for various surgical procedures.

 

This course prepares students for other medical science studies at other levels, as well as for other specialties such as surgery.
