Athletic Training as a Profession

Course Description: This course covers the definition, concepts, areas, characteristics, objectives, duties, foundations, rules, and importance of sports training. It also discusses the sports coach: definition, motivations, tasks, skills, types, leadership, planning, and sports training as a profession: concept, definition, objectives, components, professional development, the sports coach and the nature of the profession, the role of the sports coach in the training process, the sports coach and their relationships with those involved in the training system, the competencies of a sports coach, and the ethics and professional conduct of the sports training profession.

Objectives of the course :

Defines various definitions and concepts, as well as the fields, characteristics, and objectives of sports training.
- The bases, rules, and importance of sports training are classified
- Presents the motivations, tasks, skills, and types of leadership for sports coaches
- Defines the goals and components of professional training and the nature of the sports training profession.
The role of the sports coach in the training process and his relationships with all workers in the training system.
Displays the competencies of a sports coach, and the ethics and morals of the sports coaching profession.
