Introduction to Measurement and Evaluation in Sport Science

Course Description: This course covers the topics of evaluation (its concept, objectives, types, and methods), measurement and tests (their concept, objectives, types, and levels), and the philosophy of measurement in physical education and sports. It also covers the purposes of measurement in physical education and sports, scientific conditions for tests and measurements, steps for constructing tests and conditions for their application, scientific coefficients (reliability, validity, objectivity), physical abilities (types and measurement methods), motor skills (types and measurement methods), methods for calculating standard scores in physical education, and achievement tests (their types and preparation methods).
