Course Description: A mandatory course for students that addresses various issues related to physical fitness and sports nutrition, seeking scientific solutions. It analyzes physical activities to determine their needs in terms of general and specific fitness components. It also helps in understanding the principles of physical fitness and methods of developing it in light of physical growth spurts. The course highlights modern techniques in assessing physical fitness, reviews the components of a healthy diet for athletes, and discusses the optimal use of dietary supplements in enhancing physical fitness. It clarifies the role of sports nutrition in improving physical fitness and energy production systems, and sets a future vision for fitness and nutrition programs in weight management. The course also introduces recent developments in physical exertion measurement methods, critically examines some research on developing physical components, and reviews the stages of conducting research in the fields of physical fitness and sports nutrition.

4- It presents the theoretical and practical need and importance of a research plan in the field of physical fitness and sports nutrition.
