Scientific Research and Statistics in Sports

Course Description: A mandatory course taught to students that helps them understand various issues related to scientific research and applied statistics in the field of sports, making it a necessary course as it is one of the important subjects for physical education graduates.

Objectives of the course :

This course aims to introduce the student to the fundamentals of the scientific method in research, how to prepare a research plan, and how to write a research report. It covers how to identify sources for information and data collection, and how to formulate a research title, objectives, hypotheses, or questions. It also addresses how to prepare a research project in the student's scientific specialization, as well as how to statistically process research data using various statistical methods.

  • Knows the basics of the scientific research methodology and how to prepare a research plan and write a research report. Learns about sources for collecting information and data, and how to formulate a research title, objectives, hypotheses, or questions.
