Preparing a research plan in sports and recreation management

Course Description: A mandatory course taught to students that helps them understand various issues related to sports management and attempts to find scientific solutions for them. It analyzes contemporary requirements for restructuring sports institutions in light of globalization. It also aids in understanding the foundations of sports team cohesion, modern techniques in managing sporting events and facilities, and sports marketing (hopes and aspirations). The course reviews sports regulations and laws and their role in controlling athletes' ethics in sports competitions. It sheds light on the oversight role of relevant state bodies in private sports institutions and familiarizes students with developments in managing media programs to promote the sports level. It establishes a future vision for managing the reality of sports civil society association programs on social media platforms (regionally and globally), and recent developments in match management methods by (coaches, managers, referees) and sports facilities. It includes a critical study of some research in the field of sports management and an overview of the stages of conducting research in sports management.

Objectives of the course :

The main goal of preparing a research plan is to convince the professors and discussion panel members (seminar) of the following:
1- Formulate a title for a proposed research plan in the field of Sports and Recreation Management.
2- Summarizes previous studies related to the proposed research title.
Applies the necessary research knowledge and skills to prepare a research plan.
It presents the need for and importance of a research plan both theoretically and practically in the field of sports and recreational management.
5. Discuss the research plan, its steps, the scientific methodology, and the most prominent expected results.
