Applied Statistics in Sports Science

Course Description: A mandatory course taught to students that introduces the fundamental principles students must learn for data processing, description, tabulation, classification, and transformation into tables and graphs that can be utilized for interpreting data related to research problems in sports science.
Credit hours: 3
Objectives of the course :

This course aims to familiarize students with the fundamental concepts in applied statistics in mathematical sciences.
Explains statistical data analysis methods and their applications in sports.
It presents methods for collecting, tabulating, organizing, and analyzing statistical data.
Applies appropriate statistical concepts and measures to facilitate the description of data used and related to problems in sports science.
4. Proposes different solutions to problems according to statistical results.
Interprets statistical results.
6. Uses the statistical applications SPSS, Excel. .
