Course Description: This course is an advanced applied experience designed to enable students to utilize the theoretical knowledge and professional skills acquired during the program to address real-world issues or problems in the fields of sociology or social work. The student will prepare a practical field project or directed applied research aimed at solving a societal problem, developing a professional program or intervention, or evaluating an existing service within an actual work environment (e.g., social, health, educational, correctional, or developmental institutions). The project will be carried out under academic and professional supervision, and will include preparing an implementation plan, collecting and analyzing data, and writing a final report presenting the findings and recommendations. The project also encourages the integration of sociological analysis with evidence-based professional social intervention.

Developing the student's ability to design and implement an applied project that addresses a social issue or provides a practical solution to a professional problem, by employing acquired theoretical knowledge and methodological and clinical skills, thereby enhancing their professional competence and qualifying them for effective leadership in their field. • Analytical case study of an organization or social phenomenon.
• Design and evaluation of a social program or intervention.
• Field study of a specific societal problem and proposal of practical solutions.
