Course Description: The student will be able to study and compare chains of narration and judge them according to the conventions of the experts in the field.
Credits: 2
Objectives of the course :

1- Understanding the concept of hadith chain of narration study. .
2. Arguing by the efforts of the nation's scholars in serving the science of isnads. .
3. The inductive study of the science of Jarh and Ta'deel and its rules. .
4. Inferring the effect of attribution in ijtihad (legal reasoning) on judging hadith and prioritizing between them in cases of conflict.
5. Developing skills of judging men and its impact on reaching knowledge of the degree of hadiths. .

Course outputs :

Knowledge and understanding:
To know the terminology of chains of narration, criticism and praise, breaks in narration, connection of narration, and concealed transmission.
2. To explain the methodology of Al-'Amma in studying chains of narration and its importance.
3- To explain the ways narrators differ in the text and chains of narration.
Skills:
1. To compare the scholars' rules for critiquing narrators.
To compare connected and disconnected chains of narration, as well as related concepts like mursal, tadlis, and the like.
3. To formulate the narrator's translation and distinguish between them when there is suspicion.
