Judgment Talks (3)

Course Description: The student will learn the rulings of Zakat, Sadaqat al-Fitr, the rulings of Hajj and Jihad. The student will also learn to extract Hadith from its sources, explain its degree of authenticity (sound or weak) and the reasons for it, briefly explain rare vocabulary through the study of rare Hadith, grasp the general meaning of the Hadith, know the reason for its narration (if known), and mention some Hadith-related benefits from it. .

Objectives of the course :

1- Identifying the Sharia basis for the topics of (Zakat, Fasting, Sadaqat al-Fitr, Hajj, and Jihad).
2- Identifying authentic hadith from weak ones.
The ability to understand speech correctly.
4. The ability to derive jurisprudential rulings from Hadith.
4. Extracting and savoring the spiritual values from the Prophet's hadiths.
Comparing the approaches of extremism, laxity, and negligence in understanding hadith.

Knowledge and understanding:
1- The student will become familiar with the jurisprudential basis for the topics of Zakat, Fasting, Pilgrimage, and Jihad.
2- The student will know the ruling on Jihad.

The student should deduce how to distribute alms.

The Book of Zakat
1. Ibn ‘Abbas reported that the Prophet  sent Mu’adh to Yemen; this is agreed upon.
2. Anas bin Malik reported that Abu Bakr wrote for him this compulsory charity which Al-Bukhari narrated.
3. Ibn ‘Umar said: “When the sky and the springs provide water, or if it is a tithe, the tithe is due,” according to al-Bukhari.
4. Samra ibn Jundab: The Messenger of Allah used to order us to give charity. Abu Dawud.
5. Abdullah ibn Amr reported that a woman came to the Prophet with her three daughters (as part of the zakat on jewelry).
Chapter on Zakat al-Fitr.
6. Ibn ‘Umar reported: The Messenger of Allah  prescribed Zakat al-Fitr as one sa‘ of barley. Agreed upon.
Chapter on the division of alms.
7. Abu Sa'id: Sadaqah is not permissible for a rich person except for five (categories): Ahmad and Abu Dawud.
The Book of Fasting.
8. Ibn ‘Umar said: “If you see him, fast; and if you see him, break your fast.” Agreed upon.
9. Hafsa: Whoever does not intend to fast before dawn has no fast. Five.
Shaddad bin Aws said: The one who performs cupping and the one being cupped have broken their fast, except for Tirmidhi.
11. Abu Hurairah narrated that whoever forgets while fasting and eats or drinks, let him complete his fast. Agreed upon.
12. Jaber reported that the Messenger of Allah  set out for Mecca during the Year of the Conquest in the month of Ramadan. (Muslim).
13. Abu Hurayrah reported: A man came to the Prophet  and said, “O Messenger of Allah, the seven are lost.”.
Chapter on voluntary fasting and what is prohibited to fast.
14. Abu Qatadah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was asked about fasting on the Day of 'Arafah, and he said: ... Muslim.
15. Abu Ayyub reported that whoever fasts Ramadan and follows it with six days of Shawwal, (the reward of fasting) for the entire year will be written for him. (Muslim).
Chapter on I'tikaf and Qiyam al-Ramadan.
16. It is Sunnah for the person in i'tikaf not to return home while ill. (Abu Dawud).
17. Ibn 'Umar: Some men saw Laylat al-Qadr in their dreams during the last seven nights. (Agreed upon)
The Book of Hajj.
18. Abu Hurayrah: “Performing one ‘Umrah after another expiates for the sins committed between them, and it is an accepted Hajj.” Agreed upon.
Chapter on Prayer Times.
19. Ibn ‘Abbas reported that the Prophet  set a specific time for the people of Madinah regarding Dhu al-Hulayfah; this is agreed upon.
Chapter on the Forms of Ihram.
20. Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: We went out with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in the year of the Farewell Pilgrimage. Agreed upon.

21. Ibn 'Umar was asked about the garments that a person in the state of Ihram can wear. (Agreed upon).
22. Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: Five kinds of animals are all wicked and may be killed in the Haram and outside of it. Agreed upon.
Chapter on the Nature of the Hajj.
23. Jaber reported that the Messenger of Allah  performed the Hajj, and we set out with him until we reached … Muslim.
Urwah bin Mudarris. Whoever witnesses this prayer of ours and stays with us until we depart. The fifth.
25. ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Amr reported that the Messenger of Allah  stood at Arafat during the Farewell Pilgrimage, and they… Agreed upon.
26. Aisha said: “Once you have thrown the stones and shaved your heads, you may use perfume and do whatever you wish.” (Ahmad and Abu Dawud).
27. Ibn Abbas commanded the people to make their last act at the Kaaba...

Chapter on Missed Opportunities and Blockades.
28. Ibn Abbas narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was prevented from completing his pilgrimage (Ihram). So he shaved his head and had intercourse with his wives. [Bukhari].

29. Strive against the polytheists with your wealth, yourselves, and your tongues. Ahmad and Al-Nasa'i.
30. Ride forth in the name of Allah, in the cause of Allah. Fight those who disbelieve in Allah.
