Course Description: Introducing the student to the books of hadith, the efforts of hadith scholars, and developing the student's skills in researching and investigating hadith books.
Credit hours: 3
Objectives of the course :

A thorough understanding of the methodologies employed by the modern hadith scholars in codifying the Sunnah.

Course outputs :

Knowledge and understanding:
1- To clarify the efforts of scholars in caring for hadith books.
2. To mention the methodologies that the Hadith scholars adopted in their recording of the Prophetic Sunnah.
Skills:
1- To classify the types of rejected hadith and distinguish each type of rejected hadith.
2- To differentiate between the conditions for accepting and rejecting a hadith.
3. To compare the types of returned transmissions due to a narrator being questioned (Mursal, Munkar, contradicting reliable narrators, interpolated, etc.). .
Values, autonomy and responsibility:
To take responsibility in individual and group work.
