Course Description: History of wind energy, wind characteristics and resources, aerodynamics of wind turbines, dynamics of wind turbines, wind turbine materials and components, wind turbine design and testing, wind turbine control, electricity generation by wind turbines, performance of wind-driven generator systems, wind farms and siting aspects, wind power system barriers, economics, environmental aspects and impacts.
