Course Description: Biomass as an energy source and conversion processes, thermal conversion properties of biomass, biogas production, biodiesel production, bioethanol production, pyrolysis, gasification, liquefaction of biomass. Biomass combustion. Biofuel economics, biomass programs and initiatives and analysis of related topics.
Credit hours: 3
Objectives of the course :

Understanding the need for alternative renewable energy sources.
Knowledge about biomass sources and energy generation from biowaste.

Gaining the role of bioenergy in providing clean and friendly energy.
