Ethical Aspects of Management and Recreation

Course Description: This course introduces the concept, nature, and importance of ethics, providing students with an opportunity to understand ethical judgment scales and acquire skills to reduce aggression and violence in sports arenas. This makes it essential as one of the important subjects for physical education graduates, as they can utilize their free time in sports and recreational activities. .

Objectives of the course :

– The student should mention the importance of ethics – Ethics in sports – Criteria for ethical judgment – The ethical dilemma – Kohlberg's levels of moral development – Levels of studying and analyzing ethics – The four cardinal virtues of sports ethics.
– Student will learn about sportsmanship and competition, elements of Valerand's concept of sportsmanship, determinants of sportsmanship, strategies for developing sportsmanship, aggression and violence and the difference between them, methods for reducing the phenomenon of aggression and violence in sports stadiums, racism.
- The student enhances professional ethics and the ethical code, the rules governing behavior.
