Course Description: The Sports and Recreational Facilities Management course covers several topics to familiarize students with specific management skills in sports and recreational facilities. It also covers the importance of studying sports facilities management, the characteristics of a successful manager, how and when the idea of constructing sports facilities began, sports facilities worldwide, sports facilities in the Arab world, the meaning of the term "sports facility," the definition of a sports facility, types of sports facilities, general principles of sports facility planning, stages of sports facility planning, responsibilities of a sports facility manager, and common mistakes in sports facilities.

Objectives of the course :

The objective of the course (Sports and Recreational Facilities Management) is to provide students with an opportunity to understand the general principles of sports facilities planning, the general and specific principles and foundations of managing sports and recreational facilities, and the history of sports and recreational facilities.

1.1 To know the scientific and theoretical foundations of general and specific skills in sports management – and sports facilities management.
1.2 To clarify professional fields and review contemporary issues in sports facility management.
1.3 To explain how and when the idea of constructing sports facilities began.
