Sports teams and activities management

Course Description: This course introduces the concept, nature, and importance of studying sports management and management of sports teams and activities. It covers the organizational structure for managing sports teams and activities, planning, organizing, setting goals, analyzing and defining the responsibilities and duties of sports team and activity managers. It also addresses work leadership methods, effective communication, decision-making, report writing, meeting management, accommodation, delegations, and internal and external training camps. Furthermore, it covers interpersonal relationship coordination, supervision, guidance, control, defining control methods and standards for the team, how to measure them, diagnosing problems, policies, procedures, budgets, timelines, the extent of plan execution, and the appropriateness of budgets.

Objectives of the course :

This course aims to enable the student to:
1- Explains the role of the administrator in managing sports teams and activities.
2. Discuss how to implement communication types in terms of the means used in official and unofficial communication, and information services in sports organizations.
3. Explains the rules for writing reports and managing meetings.
4. Explains the integration of team and sports activities management with strategic management, defines relationship management with sports institutions, and explores direct communication tactics and their relationship to human behavior.
