Course Description: An applied research course designed for students to conduct individual research projects related to radiology and medical imaging topics under the supervision and guidance of a faculty member.

Prerequisites: HLTH426
Objectives of the course :

• Conduct applied research and collect clinical data/samples.
• Collect relevant literature from peer-reviewed journals and other sources on the research topic.
• Electronic data management and statistical analysis.
Writing a scientific report and presenting the results of a discussion session.

• Create a literature review for the proposed research topics using various search engines.
• Understand the correct principles of quotation and citation to avoid plagiarism.

• Assess the research methodology and the collected results.
