Sigmoidoscopy technology

Course Description: The course consists of a technical background and an introduction to CT technology. It also introduces students to the steps and procedures of most common CT scans, including the urinary, digestive, and reproductive systems, and how to prepare the patient for these examinations. Additionally, students are presented with an overview of the construction of a digital radiography image.
Credit hours: 3
Prerequisites: RAD 212
Objectives of the course :

• Basic knowledge and skills for X-ray radiography.
• Information about the materials and devices used in this technology.
Detailed steps and procedures for most general and special radiological examinations of all body parts.

• Reorganization of image quality principles and radiation protection in fluoroscopy.
• memorize the types and components of radiological imaging devices.

• Show the function of each component in an image intensifier tube.
