Course Description: This course covers knowledge of imaging devices, image processing chemistry and devices, and introduces the operating principles of different devices and their technical characteristics in clinical practice. It also covers topics such as quality assurance, relevant regulations, and planning within the radiology department and radiation/risks.

Objectives of the course :

Understand the main components of various diagnostic devices.
• Differentiating between these different devices.
• Understand the purpose of conventional X-rays, ultrasound, MRI, and CT scans.
Understanding the application of each device in its clinical field.
Knowing the basic principles of measurement accuracy for these devices.

Knowledge and understanding:
• Identify the devices and principles of different devices used in diagnostic radiology.
• Description of the structure and process of image formation on radiographic film and the function of the X-ray system.

Reorganizing imaging devices and accessories to produce high-quality radiographic images.
• Basic understanding of specialized imaging studies such as CT, ultrasound, MRI, fluoroscopy, nuclear medicine, interventional radiology, and others.
