Research Industry and Heritage Preservation

Course Description: This course covers the definition of scientific research, scientific research methodologies, and primary scientific sources in the field of the Holy Quran and its sciences. It aims to equip students with the skills necessary to write scientific theses and authenticate manuscripts, the skill of scientific documentation according to university-approved criteria, the ability to utilize and employ electronic sources in scientific research, and adherence to the ethics of scientific research.

Credit hours: 3

Objectives of the course :

The student will be able to identify scientific research methodologies in the field of the Quran and its sciences, and how to prepare a scientific thesis (writing or critical editing) according to the academic methodology at the university, and how to deal with electronic resources and utilize them in scientific research while adhering to the ethics of scientific research.

To accurately outline the steps for writing research papers and academic theses, including the research plan, its tools, and its components.
To expertly review modern scientific methodologies in writing research papers, theses, and manuscript authentication.

To apply scientific research methods, advanced skills, and techniques in writing Quranic research.
To analyze information and opinions in the specialization according to scientific methods.
To evaluate research papers and scholarly theses in the field of the Holy Quran and its sciences.
