Course Description: This course provides an introduction to the sciences of the Quran, covering its definition, history, and major works. It addresses revelation in terms of its definition, types, methods, and refutes doubts surrounding it. The course also defines the revelation of the Quran, its manner of descent, and the wisdom behind it. It discusses the revelation of the Quran in seven *ahruf*, explains the reasons for revelation, the Makkan and Madinan revelations, the compilation of the Quran, the ordering of verses and chapters, abrogation in the Quran, the Uthmanic script, and the translation of the Holy Quran, all with in-depth studies.

Objectives of the course :

That the student employs the fundamental concepts, elements, and principles of Qur'anic Sciences, and the methodologies of scholars in balancing different opinions on issues of Qur'anic Sciences, preferring one over others, and discussing and refuting doubts about them.
