The student will become familiar with the sciences that help in understanding the Holy Quran.
– The student should explain the concept of Ulum al-Quran (Sciences of the Quran), Makki and Madani (Meccan and Medinan revelations), Nasikh and Mansukh (abrogating and abrogated verses), the Seven Ahruf (seven dialects/modes of recitation), and Asbab al-Nuzul (occasions of revelation).
– The student will explain how the Holy Quran was revealed to the Prophet, peace be upon him, and the duration of its revelation.
– The student analyzes issues of Quranic sciences, demonstrating the relationship between them and other sciences.
The student shall perform their responsibilities in studying the specified subjects, adhering to values and interaction skills.
– The student collaborates with classmates to discuss issues related to the assigned topics, using modern technology to gather information.
Knowledge and understanding:
The student should understand the concepts of: (Sciences of the Qur'an - Meccan and Medinan - Abrogation and Abrogated - The Seven Dialects and Causes of Revelation).
2- The student should explain how the Holy Quran was revealed to the Prophet, peace be upon him, and the duration of its revelation.
Skills:
1- The student applies the rules of Quranic sciences to the relevant verses.
2. The student extracts the relationship between Quranic sciences and other sciences.
Values, autonomy and responsibility:
1- The student should exhibit Islamic values and morals during discussions to refute doubts raised about the compilation of the Holy Quran.
2. The student will lead discussions on issues related to the branches of Quranic sciences.
